Buy a plot of land in Alaska. Nothing too large but ideally it needs to be within reasonable walking distance of a renewable water source. The tricky part's going to be finding something that's not going to be accidentally found by anyone but isn't so far away that it's logistically impossible to get to or to ship things to.
Also, there needs to be some fishing or game nearby to supplement my gardening plans because that has a long turnaround with no guarantee of success depending on soil composition.
Spend a summer there felling and preparing logs from trees. Maybe about 50 or so of good length. Any material that's cut away has to be stored for re-use or recycled somehow.
Come back the next summer and build a cabin.
Look into the possibility of living there permanently and abandoning civilization.
