>>974495Could be, or could be more of a green sunfish. It's hard to tell sometimes. Pumpkinseeds normally have a real round body with a small mouth but that one is young plus maybe just the pic makes the body look longer. Green sunfish have a body shape closer to that and can have the orange belly and real nice colors but you can normally tell by the big mouths.
Used to catch all different species of bluegill/bream in IL but now I ever get here are these boring ones with no color. At least we get all sorts of cichlids.
