welp I want to get into fishing and only done the slightest amount of research, but would this be a good beginners rod/reel for someone looking to catch mostly crappie or trout in california/arizona area? theres a lot of terms and things I still need to look up, but this price seems unbeatable.
I mostly want to catch fish that I can eat, and people seem to generally say that crappies are the most keep-friendly fish in most parts.
