When you do everything right, camping in the rain can be really fun. The feeling of being safe and snug inside your tent as the wind howls outside and the rain hammers the outside of your tent is unbeatable and worth everything. It also feels a lot more adventurous when you are out hiking/camping in bad weather.
But the key thing is *if you do everything right*. If you fuck up, and your shit gets wet, then you're going to have a miserable time. With experience though, you won't let your shit get wet.
