These canteens are 900ml-1liter so having two is easier to manage the water with. Also, don't get the ones without the pan thing (dunno the name in english) because they are actually a very decent substitute to pans so you will be cooking dinner there. If your water depository is not collapsible, there is literally zero reasons to bring any pan, cup or similar.
