This is a picture looking downstream of Alligator Creek, just outside Townsville QLD (Australia). It's during the dry season so there's not a whole lot of water. This section of the creek lacks the rockpools of most of the higher areas. It's interesting because of the sharp transition to dry sclerophyll forest away from the waters edge, although you can't see that in this picture.
