My gardens are pretty much ripped out and remulched for the fall. I have peppers still going, but they're just about done. The plan is to plant garlic in mid october, but I'm tempted to start it now.. Zone 6a, eastern PA around allentown. I'm also tempted to put some bare root trees in the front yard (Full sun all day) I was thinking hazelnut but I'm not sure they would look good enough for the front yard.
Anyone growing anything for the fall? Where do you get your bare root trees? I'm thinking maybe cherry or peach.
Pic is my tomato harvest. I got about 40 pint jars of sauce for my first year ever doing this. I don't think I'll plant as many roma next year.
