I'm trapped in a valley that has two interstates, an airport, a hospital, and two railyards. I can get up into the hills above and it is fairly depopulated and has good nature, but it is just so loud. I will listen to the red dead game soundtracks a couple of times while working on shelters or gathering firewood and such so I didn't have to listen to jake brakes, back alarms, snowplows, sirens, the dam, heavy equipment, autos on the bridge, and traincars coupling. Out in the national forest though I would never want to miss the chance to hear or see something amazing because I was plugged into some bullshit gadget.
