Plan your route so you're hiking most of the time, but give yourself an hour before sunset for each camp. Once you're done setting up and cooking dinner you'll be dead tired there isn't much else to do staying up except tending the fire, which is pretty relaxing by itself
If you're car camping at a developed site for a couple days then I can see how you might get bored, in that case look up hiking routes or take up fishing/foraging
