which one: do you want your pot to be more durable?? or do you want your pot to have a bit of bend and give to take up less space in a filled up pack? that's the only functional difference.

in context of cooking both aluminum and titanium react to acids. aluminum oxide is probably the least reactive in this context.
also there's some newer health concerns starting to come up in medical literature with titanium cookware and also your titanium is DEFINITELY coming from china if its not an evernew brand cook pot.
