Any opinions on an Abu Black Max/ Vengeance combo? Med-Heavy Fast action and I think it's a 7 or 8 bearing. I was fondling one at the local Dick's and I'm thinking it could be a solid worm/jig rod; reels smooth as silk and the rod seemed solid. Also need recommendations for a good buzz/spinner/crank/popper getup. I'm awful with baitcasters but I figure it's time I get a couple to fill those roles and learn to get good with them.

Some of their special/limited paint jobs are pretty gnarly looking too (I assume they're more collector items than every day lures?). I kind of want to give their Pop Max a try but at $20'ish a pop I'd probably tie the anchor to my leg and jump off the boat if I lost one.
