>>2222250I'm not sure what depth I need to get to but it drops off pretty hard and these fish will come into the shallows to chase smelt. I caught one laker last fall on my ultralight about 60-100ft off the bank so that's what I'm aiming for. I'm pretty shit at casting but it's not to hard to get distance with the shooting head line. I'll try fishing near stream inlets at sundown. Thanks!
