Our Psilocybe season is a fall through midwinter thing. Maybe other parts of the country are different, but I've never heard of a spring flush around here.
Look into growing your own. Pretty much anyone with two brain cells to rub together can do it and there are loads of free resources/info online. Imo, cultivated cubensis give a superior trip to any wild species I've ever tried.
Moreover, unless you already have some experience IDing wild mushroom, it's pretty stupid to jump straight into picking/eating fungi with deadly lookalikes.
