>>2471464>>2471465I don't know how serious you are, OP, but everyone will hate you for it. So get ready for that psychologically. They might even chase you out of camp. Personally, I find the idea of leeching on to others somewhat unpleasant. Basically you're just showing up and trying to use for free what other people pay lots of money for. The teams pay for those sherpas to set up the ropes. I assume for your sake that you have studied in minute detail the route you will follow and stay up to date on the latest developments of the route from feedback of the most recent summits (if anyone summits earlier in the season). I'm not sure how you'll do this since most such intel comes from the teams themselves in the moment.
The only thing I really dislike about your attitude is that you (jokingly) believe you will die on this adventure. If you're really going up a mountain without the proper preparation or equipment or experience to expect to succeed then you're literally THAT GUY, the guy who's ruining it for everyone else.
This is like when the French police admonish me for wanting to climb the Mont Blanc, except it's 1'000'000x more justified in your case, and when I climbed the Mont Blanc I knew exactly what I was doing.
