I'm from south of Chicago on the kankakee river. Boating jet skis and fishing. Plenty of hunting to keep me entertained growing up. Some decent waterfowl opportunities. You can find missing spots and lots of ponds. My friends and I would take a day and gather catfish, tons of crayfish for a boil and all the frogs we could get and have a big get together. It is what you make of it really. There is deer to hunt fox to trap and birds to shoot.
