>>1775763Eggs (and entertainment). Last batch of chicks we had 7 mix breed roosters and ate them. Very good and would like to have more to eat, for starters roosters/excess hens from a new batch of chicks, but I’m interested in ordering a batch of a meat breed at some point.
I may try a DIY incubators if the hens really won’t step up, but I’d rather have a mama to look after the little chicks than have to care for them separately.
