I just tipped them in rooting hormone, stuck in soil, and covered with a severed bottle as a humidity dome, so I can't tell how do the forming roots look like.
Just make sure that your roses are fine with their own roots, some roses are grafted for they do much better with good rootstock in terms of disease, cold resistance and acceptance of inferior soil.
