So, I know Climbing Knives are a thing in the sense that there are small knives that get used for cutting cords and other things you would typically expect to cut with a knife, but are there climbing knives in the sense that you stab it into a rock wall while climbing to use as a handhold?
If no, are there any tools that can be used to make climbing easier? I know climbing axes are a thing.
For context, I'm not asking because I plan to climb anything. I'm writing something in a High Fantasy setting and I'm almost certain that a fish monster with scaled hands would not be able to climb a rock wall, but it's kind of vital that they do for the sake of the story.
