the winner is more often than not some rich dudes relative or something, prize money is usually paid for(indirectly) as sad as that is. hollywood is a business not a charity, its just made to seem that way.
the select few are made to look good at the expense of those who joined randomly. although sometimes its not the case, it varies from career to career.
