>>92057There's many ways to make one, they only need a way to hold 1-3 gallons of water in the reservoir, a way for the soil to 'wick' up the water, a way to be able to pour the water into the reservoir, and black plastic to to keep the soil moist for days.

I used the containers' lid to create a 2-3 gal reservoir (it blocks the soil from being soaked in water), drilled holes so that water can evaporate and keep the soil moist, used the net pots for support of the Lid, as well as letting the soil placed there to soak in the reservoir and create the 'wick' effect while also blocking the dirt from just dissipating into the reservoir.
after that, just fill the sucker up with potting mix, and start planing, the left over part of the lid can be used to secure the black plastic in place.
