The USGS team when they first came here in the early 1800s noticed this at the peak and were dumbfounded and couldn't find record of it in any of the earlier explorers maps.
They chocked it off as from the Spanish and/or Portugese and from that point onward the USGS markers have been the same shape as the original one they found here.......
That is the history behind the amount of time passed since David Tenier made this hidden triangle into the part of the affair.....
