How do I into grapefruit?
I found some sprouting seeds inside a grapefruit bought a year ago, put them in some miracle-gro potting soil, and within a month was rewarded with a pair of grapefruit seedlings. I haven't noticed any new growth since the big leaves appeared in November, though. How do I get them to grow again?
I usually leave them in a dish of water outside during the summer (Zone 6 in an arid region) and bring them inside for the winter. I let the soil dry out every two weeks or so but otherwise keep it moist.
They blew over and dried out while I was on vacation last week, hence the crispy leaf tips. Pic all too related.
