Native brook trout around here are a rare resource limited to tiny streams that are never stocked. Yes, they will be more aggressive compared to browns or rainbows but they are much easier to spook and given the inherent nature of tiny streams it can be extremely difficult to properly present a fly. Especially if the vegetation is dense.
