>>2646502so ive been a freshwater fisherman all my life, and own an 18 ft alumacraft bass boat. but i now live near savannah, GA and so lately ive been doing a lot of saltwater fishing out of my kayak. i want a better boat for saltwater, but dont want to put my bass boat in it. i imagine 80% of my fishing will be inshore in fairly shallow waterways and creeks, with maybe 20% of the time spent 2-6 miles offshore or fishing in a large bay, weather permitting. what type of boat would yall recommend? a little skiff of some kind? a 16-18 foot center console? throw a 25hp tiller steer on a 1648 jon boat and call it good?
