>>470972No, those are French. I've had mine grow really tall too. The African ones have massive uniform-looking flowers about 3 inches across. The French ones I bought from a greenhouse didn't get very big (slug trap), but the plants that grew from their seeds got huge.
Yours are just doing exceptionally well, like mine did before winter set in. I probably should have taken a photo of it at its best.
