How the fuck do you guys fish freshwater lakes that are riddled with nothing but weeds/logs? There's this lake I've been hitting up, going to go there this morning as well.
The fish bite there, however, the biggest pain in the ass is fishing through the weeds and logs that are fucking everywhere.
Even with a typical weedless set-up on a lizard/worm, I drag a plethora of fucking shit that I have to scrape off the bait. It's not a big deal but jesus it's annoying doing it every time I throw it out. When I reel a fish in, it's almost entirely covered in shit.
Not only that but if I ever want to wacky rig something I get caught up on sticks/logs, so that's out of the question for me. Which is a shame because that's what I get the most fish on.
TL;DR: Any way easy way to avoid hook getting snagged on logs?
