This isn't even a smattering of my winter stuff, but you get the picture. It's cozy as shit, depending on the weather its either dead quiet, that beautiful sound of wind over snow, or soft pattering of flakes.
Make a fire, cook some shit, bundle correctly. Properly close off your face from the wind or everything else will feel useless.
Bring a sled, the cheap plastic ones work fine, cut the string, run them through two PVC pipes, cross them in an X and tie them to your belt. Use it to carry more stuff. Especially useful if you've got a tent with a stove.
