OP here
>>1623622This is a great idea - hoping to do this soon, but our weekends get filled up so quickly these days. I’ll have to plan it well in advance. But man, it sounds nice.
>>1623631Me too :) Thanks!
>>1623673I’ve been using the Gaia GPS app and it’s been fantastic. Logged every trail I’ve done so far and it’s been a great way to knock off trails from my little self-set challenge.
>>1626462Thanks - I thought the thread was going to die and I was a little bummed, but thanks for the revive :)
>>1626485I’ll try and post some very soon. Have to get ready for a wedding at the moment. In the meantime, if you Google Image “ExoSym” or check out Hanger’s site, that’s the model I’m using (note: some people have the above-knee section, but I do not. Mine is solely below the knee.). There’s also a YouTube video here:

Minor update: I’m applying for the National Parks Access Pass, a lifetime pass for people with partial or full disabilities that gets me free entry into every National Park (and many state parks honor it). Very pumped.
Update: I got hiking poles! Met my personal trainer out in the forest and worked on my walking form with them (a lot of it ends up being modified to meet the needs of my devices). Amazing. Ended up starting a hike before sunset last night and finishing rather late. I did 2.5hrs, 6.5 miles (!), and a 400 feet ascent. Busted out my headlamp and didn’t quit! A great hike and a great evening. The advice here has been phenomenal and I’m loving it. Thanks, guys!
Pic: a few months ago, I was barely active. A few weeks ago, I was barely setting foot in the woods. Here’s what my car looks like now LOL!
