I'm thinking about starting a breeding project involving the black pearl and I wanna know whether the black leaf gene is dominant, recessive, or a more complex multi-gene trait. I'm hoping it's simple dominance so I can weed out plants that don't have the black leaf gene while they're just seedlings and save myself a lot of unnecessary growing.
