My family does a big trip to Maine every August where we spend two weeks in the middle of nowhere by a lake. It's pretty fucking awesome.
It used to be a lot more primitive than it is now. Technology is creeping over the area like an itchy blanket, but we try to stay away from such things when we're up there.
