I've had the inkling of a thought to try heading back up to Sequoia and see what winter is like in the southern part of the Sierras, but at the same time another part of me would ask why I would do that when the already pretty deserted and assuredly even quieter Sequoia National Forest/National Monument is right next to the area. All that and the whole "toilet horror stories" thing from Yosemite and other national parks is just disgusting, not to mention I have neither 4WD or snow chains for my vehicle.
