>>1623690We always see this in 'things that cannot speak for themselves". Animals, trees, gods, fetuses. Every time someone claims to be speaking for something that cant, people always assign their views to mute entities and suddenly that thing is the victim that needs their moral defense, and we are to regard them as heroes for it.
Now we have people claiming to speak for a wet ball of mud spinning through space by people who think atmospheric shifts in composition and temperature signal the mudball has hurt feelings. and the only salvations is guilt followed by behavior changes that uplift the complainers as leaders and heroes. Its a fucking joke and its transparent.
Which is probably why things that survive dont care about feelings while vegans become emaciated social targets.
Just this evening I took the time to gently collect a cellar spider that had been languishing in my bathroom for months to put outside. This was after an episode last week where I spent a half hour chasing a nuisance house-fly into his forlorn web where the poor spider had no chance of collecting a meal. This is coming from a guy who actually has a visible scar from a spider bite from years ago.
Then I came inside to eat some re-heated pork ribs after burger for lunch. Whether this counts as 'loving animals' or not to others is irrelevant. I have compassion and appreciation for them, even the ones I eat and the ones that hurt me. I have no use for mental weaklings who think they can combine breakfast and shame to make themselves appear morally useful. Its a fraud practiced by idle imbeciles and I have no use for it.
