Post some crazy shit that worked and post crazy stuff that didn't work.
I once used an ice fishing jig to catch fish in the summer. No joke either. A northern pike swipped at the lure two feet in front of the shore and dashed out from the shallows as fast as he could. It was a 25 inch fish so I kept it. Anorther northern pike sliced throw my line when I was using one of my favorite lures (it was a crawfish colored crank bait) near the shore and while it was recovering from the fight, I jumped in after the pike and tried to grab it's gill plate. But it didn't work out and he slipped his was out of my hand. I was really mad because that was by far the most successful crank bait I ever used and I didn't even know the brand of it either. The rattle in it was by far the most distint I've heard a crank bait and it had pretty good action as well. I was of course disappointed that I couldn't land the fish (it was definitely a 28+ inch fish) but it was nothing compared to my lucky crank. I know I'm autistic, but that was my special bait. I found it stuck in a large mouth basses mouth when I was 12 and I babied it and used it for years. I even changed the treble hooks on it once a year, polished it, and even kept it away from all the other lures (I put it in a pouch made for glasses and everything). RIP bait. I hope you make it in the next life.
