That picture was taken in Indian-administered Kashmir, close to the border with Pakistan. Here's a photo I snapped after a fishing trip gone awry. I'd gotten miserably sick after descending a very long ways down to a stream and had to abandon the plan early. I wound up trekking up this mountain in the Himalayan foothills all by myself, stopping to let out streams of diarrhea every fifteen to twenty minutes. It took me hours to get back up to the top. When I finally reached the area where my tent and a few others were located, this Kashmiri dude I'd been with started hollering at me and saying that the side of the mountain I'd ascended has a ton of dangerous wildlife and, to top it off, is used by militants who face off against the Indian Army.
