The larger one had a much bigger area to heat, and had problems with rain and snow. The larger one needed a dedicated roof due to the diameter change, which was fine at first however after rainfall, it would get wet inside and stay that way. But we did end up camping in it one night when it snowed nonetheless, had a makeshift spit inside which we cooked some beef and ramen on. Didn't stay as warm as the smaller fort, but kept us warm enough. was super comfy to sit inside and look out at the snow
