>>2403146depends on the species in your area that you want to target, but pic rel is pretty versatile, easy to use, and fish can't swallow it. just make sure you don't get ones that are too big, which a lot of the ones marketed are. they have huge thick hoks that will go right through the eye on small bass or be hard to get out due to large barbs. you can usually find smaller ones in store, with like a 1/0 or 2/0 hook. 1/4oz johnson beetlespin will also work on bass. smaller paddle tail swimbaits under 4" or so are also good. basically size up so the sunfish don't really target them, but don't go too big because some fish are too finicky to hit the big shit.
