It isn't about that. I got my gear for free when I was 17 off a friend and it was new in 1992, (I was 17 3 years ago). Just got out and play in the mountains, if you live near them awesome! If not go for a drive. Heres a photo I took last weekend on a two day expedition. If the thread is still alive in a couple hours I will post better pics that my buddy took. (This is Fissile Peak, 2439m peak in the coastal mountain ranges of Western BC)
