maybe i could use a mountain bike but it would need to be maintained. Fix flats, air up tires. Same thing for the possible dual sport motorcycle option. needs maintenance and fuel.
long term apocalypse scenario probably will be on foot and thus limited to a backpack full of precious few items and limited weight carrying ability.
