>>1213792All in all, it took me around 3.5 to 4 hrs to get to the site. That's about an average of 2.5 miles an hour with snowshoes and the additional weight of winter gear. I estimate it to be a 3 hour hike in the summer, easily. The trail was very well marked but I can't say how well the path underneath is, since it was under 1-2 feet of snow. Apparently one of the bridges is out, but I couldn't tell where. Everything was frozen over and I just followed the opening in the trees. The blue trail markers are easy to spot and pretty well dispersed. It seems like there are plenty of critters around from all the tracks in the snow (even after a fresh fall the night I stayed). I didn't see any bears though.
