I modified mine, made a custom leather sheet with the existing plastic one as the interior. stripped the blade, but not the handle. Made a notch for the fire steel, the rest of the spine is rounded. wrapped it with hockeytape and carved a stick out of ashwood as an additional handle to use it as a machete.
I love bushwacking and i own a little patch in the woods where i like to camp.
It's a really decent and cheap knife, which serves many purposes.
