>>838804Not going to defend some stoners who got offended by another stranger who refused a session, because honestly we should all be above getting butthurt by words of a stranger especially when you're passing by and/or occupied doing something worthwhile. However ask yourself... was there ANY way that YOU could alter those outcomes by changing yourself first?
Imagine you're at a nice secluded area where you could do some safe target shooting, you're setting up without having fired a shot and some /out/ folks happen to come by who've never shot a gun before, because gunfolk can tell ASAP by body language of another person's comfort level with firearms. You ask them if they'd like to try it out, and they reply with either the following: 1) No thank you, I appreciate your kindness. 2) No thank you, I appreciate your kindness *BUT* I don't want to become a gun nut. (You guys are free to replace that part with any number of worse labels, mass shooter, murderer, redneck, etc)
Which do you think would get a better response, and MORE importantly leave a decent impression to you?
