>>2267526I see it like the Broken windows theory; 'visible signs of crime, anti-social behavior, and civil disorder create an urban environment that encourages further crime and disorder, including serious crimes.' it encourages further anti social behavior. its similar to bushcrafters cutting down trees and making shelters on public land. when asked why they do this a common excuse is 'trees will just grow back'. while it may seem like the 2 examples would have different followers there is one thing linking them, social media. i believe the users of social media do things to seek attention and its a form of mental degradation. they never grew out of the attention seeking behaviors children exhibit. while penalizing those they conform to these behaviors is helpful the best thing to do is to have them all shot. that way they arent further polluting the gene pool.
