you can do random shit like this for its own sake, especially with friends, that's how you end up with good memories.
i understand the desire to keep these things "pure" and not consumable or related to social currency, but i think a lot of the time that's just more neuroticism.
you don't become an individual by AVOIDING being commodified, but by disregarding notions of commodification when finding things to do.
if you embody this spirit and don't take a metaphysical position on your hobbies, you'll end up ostracized by neurotic/petty people and rise to better ones. it's a relief.
also if it were for twitter likes or similar, i bet it would be vertically framed and maybe a video.
