>>863071It's worth noting that you don't eat the whole thing, just the outer edge where it's softer. Eat the hard bit and you'll just shit it out in chunks that are still orange. Also know that some people have a bad reaction to chicken-- of its your first time you may want to start with just a little and see how you feel. Nice find!
I like to marinate it in a teriyaki kinda sauce for 12 hours or mor, then pan fry it. It can be a little tough if you do cook it like you might a chanterelle.
