It's really quite impressive. I don't mind the ressilience as it means I don't have to plant some ground cover and could harvest an area for straw or biomass and have it quickly get covered away from sun within a week. But the issue is that because it grows so fast, it's quite a hassle in getting new plants established growing there from seed.
My buckwheat is about 1-2weeks behind because of it.
