How far north do shrimp stay a relevant forage for flats fish? I spent a lot of summers on the northern part of the cape wading around with a hand net as a kid but I only ever saw tiny grass shrimp, never more than about a half inch long. I'm gonna go do some wading out on the Brewster flats and I'm wondering if it's worth trying some shrimp imitations or if I should stick to sluggos, gulp and bucktails.
