It's cool, because you'll get into some damn good terrain, but when you get to an untouched meadow of snow and the sun's out ... end up sitting on the edge while one or two other guys set up cameras, radio back to one rider, and the one guy puts first tracks down. Pack up camera gear, then an hour after we got to the meadow we're riding again.
I can stop, pop open the case on my tunnel, take a shot or two, stuff the camera back in there, close/latch the case, and be riding again before the guy behind me's caught up.
My shots usually turn out decent, I don't get many complains when I do stop to shoot something.
