>>645599>have experienceHired something similar to pic related in NZ. Had the olds with who were getting pretty elderly so went for something like this for that reason mainly. Has a toilet, shower, hot water service, 3 way fridge, stove, sink, water tanks (fresh and grey), aux battery / charger / 24/12 volt converter, electric water pump and a propane heater. Slept 5 but we only used some beds.
We went to official parks every 2 to 3 days for a powered site laundry etc. Could have used small generator a couple of times as mother ran the heater (electric fan) too long and flattened the aux battery. I just started it up for a wile to get some charge back in it.
It takes a wile to get used to driving, parking, clearance etc Exhaust brakes are awesome and came in very handy with NZ's topography. You may find reverse threads on left hand wheels should you need to change one which we did which proved far faster than waiting for the company to send someone to do it which is the norm for them.
If we were not travelling regularly it would have needed more power supply and better heating and/or insulation.
