>>2328181I forgot to post the rest of my river paintings. This one is super minimalist and I’d love to go back to the area to do some more detailed paintings and drawings. One part of river scenes that I find almost more difficult than the water is the overhanging leaves, trees and brush above the water and on the banks. Just the way that there’s so many complex organic shapes overlapping and so many shades of green can be overwhelming to paint.
