Pissed rain just as I finished making camp. Siberian style log fire worked pretty well and I was dry and warm in my new to me surplus shelter half/poncho.
It kept drizzling through the next day and the poncho did a good job keeping me dryish despite having been taking the rain the night before.
17 miles back was not nearly as fun as the hike there
